Hi, Claudia, If the bars are difficult to remove from the pan, try coating the pan with some cooking spray, such as Pam. You can also add some lemon zest (the yellow part of the lemon peel) to the recipe for a little more concentrated lemon flavor. One other thing: if you didn't use fresh lemon juice, try that as well. Have you checked your oven to see if it runs hot? That may be contributing to the texture of your finished product; they may be over baked. Hope this helps.
