Custard powder is a powdered custard mix that you buy in the baking section of your grocery store. In Canada it is usually with the powdered cocoa, etc. The powder is used with milk to make custard pudding you cook on the stove. With cookies you just use the powder in it's dry form from the container. I think the brand name is McCormick . hth Donald
