Lynda, I originally sent this to another list, but it occurred to me
yesterday that it may have been on CND where I first saw you. I am
pasting in the message I sent the other day.
Original Message: Lynda, I hope this is the group where I originally

I meant to keep that message but accidentally erased it. ?I heard from
"Auntie Arwen" today, and she is still in business. ?Her website is in
the process of being redone, but you can still order from it. ?You
just won't see the new produts yet. ?She said she will *never* stop
doing braille labels. ?If you don't see the option on checkout, she
said to put in the comments that you would like to have them. ?Lynda,
I hope you are here!

I like all the recipes on this list. Keep up the good work.
Living in the Present One day at a time, This is enough. Do
not look back and grieve over the past. For it is gone. And do
not be troubled about the future. For it has not yet come. Live
in the present, and make it so beautiful. That it will be worth
remembering. Our blog is as follows:

I can tell you how I do it, but I don't have exact measurements.
Drain the sweet potatoes and put them in a glass baking dish and mash
them
with a fork. They can be a little lumpy, no problem.
In a saucepan, put about 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbs. butter, and pinches of
nutmeg,
cloves, cinnamon, ginger (all dried and ground spices) and whatever else
you
think you might like.
Heat mixture on the stove until butter melts, add it to the sweet
potatoes
about half at a time to make sure it's not runny. When you think the
consistancy of the sweet potato mixture is good, don't add any more milk
mixture.
press marshmallows into the top of the sweet potatoes and bake at 350
degrees F for around 20 minutes.
When you touch the marshmallows with a fork, they will sound hollow,
then it
is done.
Hope this helps.
There's another one for the crockpot I'll send you.

Here's the other recipe. this is soo gooood and I didn't even use the
marshmallows or pecans when I made it.
Crockpot Sweet Potatoes
6 sweet potatoes (or yams), peeled
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup applesauce
Cut potatoes into chunks; place in crockpot. Mix together
remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes.
Cover and cook on low about 6 hours or until done to desired
tenderness.
Just before serving add a layer of mini marshmallows and toasted
pecans if desired.

AppleBread
Great for older babies and everyone else!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup canola oil
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large egg
2 cups sifted unbleached flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 cup raisins
2 large apples finely chopped (use good baking apples)
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions:
Combine oil, sugar, and vanilla. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs
and beat well. Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
Add milk, raisins, apples, nuts, and dry ingredients to mixture and
stir only until flour is well dampened.
Bake in well-greased 9x5x4 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60
minutes. Cool; remove from pan. Combine glaze ingredients; mix well and
pour over loaf. Let glaze set before wrapping loaf tightly. Best if
made day prior to serving.
You may substituted the following for the apples:
1 cup blueberries
1 1/2 cup fresh peaches, sliced thin
or 1 1/2 cup shredded carrots
