Hi, Bill,
You boil a whole or cut-up chicken for about an hour. The bone marrow forms
a gel when it's cool and the meat makes a gravy. When it's cool enough,
remove the bones and any extra chicken you don't need for the soup. It
makes great sandwiches. Skim off fat. This is easy to do if you cool the
broth in the refrigerator. It rises to the top and makes a film you just
peel off. Now you have a broth with meat. You can add whatever you want
and simmer until it's done. Salt, pepper, flat noodles, grated carrots,
chopped onion, celery, parsley, salt and pepper are popular choices. The
leftovers are always better the next day.

Subject: [CnD] recipe for chicken noodle soup

Hello,
does anyone have a recipe for home made chicken noodle soup that can be made
in the crock pot?
Thanks in advance.
