George And Lora's Cinnamon Rolls
(George and Lora Leggett)

1 loaf frozen white bread dough
1 stick butter
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon

Place the frozen bread dough on a buttered pan.
Turn the oven on to about 300 degrees 1 minute.
Turn off the oven.
Open the oven door slightly.
Place the pan with dough on center rack.
Close the oven door quickly so the warm air will not escape.
Let the dough stand about an hour or until it is thawed and squeezes to the
touch.
Melt the stick of butter in a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup or in a
small pan on the stove.
Add the sugar and cinnamon.
Mix until sugar is melted and ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Place the dough on a clean surface such as a cutting board.
Roll out into a rectangle to cover the area of a broiler pan.
The dough may try to spring back. Be patient and roll out as close to that
size as possible.
Pour the butter mixture onto the dough and spread out the filling over the
entire surface of the dough.
Turn the board or pan so that the long side of the dough is toward you.
Roll up the dough jelly roll fashion until dough is shaped like a log at the
far end of the board in front of you.
Prepare a cookie sheet with butter or cooking spray.
Cut the log into about 1 inch slices.
Lay the slices flat about 1 inch apart on the cookie sheet.
Turn the oven on to 300 degrees 1 minute.
Turn off oven.
Place pan with rolls on the center rack of the oven 1 hour to rise. The rolls
will be almost touching.
Prepare Butter Cream Frosting Cooked.
You may need to whirl the mixture quickly in the blender to remove any flour
lumps.
Set aside to thicken.
Bake the cinnamon rolls at 350 degrees about 15 minutes or until rolls are
touching and brown. Do not overcook.
Remove from oven.
Spread frosting on the rolls immediately using a 1/4 cup measuring cup to dip
and your hand to spread evenly.
Let rolls cool slightly. Enjoy.
Makes 6 to 8 rolls.
