Dessert DATE NUT CAKE
4 unbeaten eggs 1 cup sugar ½ cup salad oil 1 cup sifted self-rising flour 1 pound pitted dates, chopped 4 cups whole pecan halves Combine eggs, sugar and salad oil. Beat well. Add flour, dates and pecans. Place in a greased and floured 9" X 5" X 3" loaf pan or tube pan. Set in cold oven at 300 degrees.
