The best lemonade I ever tried was a recipe sent to me by the late Henry Kasten.
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 cups lemon juice
5 cups water
Directions:
bring one cup water to a boil
stir in sugar and stir until dissolved.
Remove from heat.
In a pitcher, combine the sugar water, lemon juice and remaining water.

That is it. You can control the strength of it by the amount of lemon juice you add.
