I have the older version of the hand mixer and like it. My husband and I
recently bought their stand mixer from QVC as well. We really like that too
but it is quite a bit more.

Okay, I tried out the new Kitchen Aid hand mixer, and I absolutely love
it. Maybe, it's because I've had a cheapy one all of these years. There is
a button that you press, to pop out the beaters; so very nice! There are
definitely 9 speeds, and there is a down arrow that you press to go lower,
if need be. There is an on button & an off button, and it is so very
quiet. I made banana bread this evening, and it mixed the batter
beautifully. I think I made a great investment!
