Crockpot Potato Chowder

 

8 cups diced potatoes

1/3 cup chopped onion

3 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth

1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed

1/2 pound sliced bacon, cooked, crumbled, optional

Minced chives, optional

 

Method

 

1. In a 5 quart crockpot, combine diced potatoes, onion, chicken broth, soup 
and pepper. 

2. Cover. 

3. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or until potatoes are tender. 

4. Add cream cheese. 

5. Stir until blended. 

6. Garnish with bacon and chives if desired.

7. Makes 12 servings.
