I use a slotted spoon, or even my hand.

  Been a long time since I have seen your name floating around. smile.  You
can purchase egg separator at stores like wal mart some times. However the
cheaper way and easy way to do it, is if you have a funnel. then place it
over a bowl and break your egg inside it, the whites will go through the
funnel and the yoke will stay in the funnel, just empty the yolk into
another bowl or what ever you want.  Katie in Oklahoma
