Chocolate Covered Cherries

2 Sticks Margarine
*2 pounds Confectioners' Sugar
*1 Can Eagle Brand Mild
*2 TSP Vanilla
3 jars Maraschino Cherries
24 oz Chocolate chips    
1 bar gulf wax

Melt Butter.  Add the next 3 ingredients in a large bowl. 
Cover and Refrigerate overnight. 
Drain Cherries on paper towels to get the juice out. (if you
prefer you can put them on a pan and put in oven at 350 for 5
minutes or 10 minutes).
Make walnut size balls and flatten in your hand. ( I spray my
hand with pam so it don't get sticky)
Insert a cherry and roll in your hand to make sure it is
covered.  put on wax paper and put it in the freezer.  Freeze
until hard (usually about 20 minutes). 
Melt Chocolate chips and wax in a double boiler.  Insert tooth
pick into cherries and dip in chocolate.  Enjoy
