I also make meatballs the way many people make burgers.  Get some Lipton
onion soup mix with or without mushrooms.  Mix it with the burger meat, then
form and bake the meatballs.  

 

If you are using the meatballs for spaghetti, you are probably going to have
a flavorful tomato-based sauce.  You won't need to add much to the meatballs
except maybe salt, pepper and/or garlic.  If you want the flavor to be in
the meatballs, add a prepared dry Italian seasoning packet to the burger
meat.  Of course you can make your own with oregano, garlic, parsley etc.  ,
Use canned Campbell's tomato soup for the sauce.  

 

Incidentally, Trader Joe's cells a really good frozen turkey meatballs.
They are lightly seasoned.  You can do whatever you like, including serving
them as appetizers with or without toothpicks.
