Yes, but... there ain't enough frosting in one of those dinky little cans to cover all of THAT mistake! HaHaHaHa! My best fix has been to trim off the sides and enough of the top to make the cake lie reasonably flat, and then I can frost the approximately 7x11 cake which has become my standard fix. I was just curious as to whether there was something I was doing wrong. I have tried all of the suggestions given to me on the list at least several times each. I have even turned the temp down from 350 to about 300 to 325, with not much change. Oh well, I guess I am stuck with strange shaped cakes. I will still check into the cooking strips, though.
