Do you think you could do this recipe leaving out the peanutbutter?

  Well, I'm not Jerry, <grin> but whether or not you do it for the full five 
  minutes is going to depend on your microwave's wattage level.  A higher 
  wattage microwave is more powerful and so would melt the mixture faster than 
  five minutes especially with newer microwave cook ware because it conducts 
  heat much better than older stuff, IMO.

  That's why I'd check after the first minute at least to see how well things 
  are melting.  I definitely wouldn't just set my microwave for five minutes 
  and walk away or I'd have a mess.
