Last night I put a 1-pound smoked sausage on the George Foreman grill, uncut. According to 1 recipe book, it said to cook sausage that is cut to one half inch thickness on medium for 4 minutes. The other George Foreman cookbook I have does not say to cook on low, medium, or high, but it said to cook sausages for 7 to 8 minutes. So I did not cut the sausage, set the grill to medium, and cooked it for 7 minutes. It came out very good.

I just took a package of 8 Bar S hot-dogs, preheated the grill on high for 5 minutes, and cooked them all at once on the grill for 3 minutes as the book with no temperature recommendations suggested, and they came out perfect. Not as good as an outdoor smoker, but they have very good grilled flavor.

I'm already liking this indoor grill, even without an instruction manual, although I still want to get one.
