Jell-O Strawberry Bavarian Pie

 

"Mamma Peach"

1 (3 ounce) package Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin

1 tablespoon sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup cold water

1 (10 ounce) package Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries

1 cup Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping. thawed

1 baked 9 inch pie shell, cooled

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen 
strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly 
thickened. Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. (Mixture may appear 
slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending.) Pour into pie shell. Chill 
until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional whipped topping, and mint 
leaves, if desired.

Makes 1 (9 inch) pie.
