If you're interested, that 6-quart model of the stir crazy popcorn popper
can be gotten through
www.amazon.com
for around $25, for for roughly $50 online elsewhere. Amazon gives quite a
savings, and this is not for a used one. They are new.

Subject: [CnD] Popcorn
Hi all. I'm glad this subject came up because I was trying to find a
popcorn
popper on Amazon. I'm glad to know there are poppers out there that mix in
the toppings and stuff. The only popper I've ever used is an old one my
dad
has that air pops the corn, and the popcorn comes out a slanted shute that
you put a bowl in front of to catch your snack. I originally wanted
something like this because it was what I'm familiar with, but now I can
rethink that. I didn't fancy having to mix in the butter myself like Dad
would do when he popped popcorn for us, which was rare. We more often than
not used those microwave bags.
Speaking of poppers, that was an absolutely hilarious story about
the print manual, Sandy! I can just imagine being the victim of that
mistake. I wouldn't have been because I always check for stuff like that,
but I would've been so shocked if that happened to me. I hope the paper
didn't cause a nasty burning smell to permeate the room. I know what burnt
paper smells like, and it ain't pretty! Also, Charles, that was a good
pun,
that high-fiber snack quip. I nearly doubled over laughing!
Finally, since we're on the subject of popcorn, I figured I'd
recommend some great microwave popcorn. Even better, Amazon sells this.
Search for Pop Secret Movie Theater Butter Popcorn 3 pk 10.5 oz (Pack of
12).
Or even better, if you're familiar with Amazon's A S I N codes, paste this
into the search box: B0029K2XJ0
Looks like it's unavailable right now, but hopefully they'll get
more in soon. It's not showing the price as of this writing, but I usually
pay something like $38 for it, and it usually lasts me and my friends
about
one and a half months, depending on how much we eat.
Of course, people's microwaves are often different, but I've found
through experimentation that these wonderful bags of popcorn nearly always
cook in exactly two minutes 25 seconds, which seems very efficient to me.
Anyway, sorry for the long message. I just thought I'd put in my two
cents on this.
