QUICK BERRY BREAD 

 

1 c. butter, room temperature

2 c. sugar

4 eggs

5 c. flour

5 tsp. baking powder

1 c. milk

4 c. berries (raspberries, blackberries, elderberries, or blueberries)

 

Cream sugar with butter. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beat well. Combine flour and 
baking powder in another bowl. Add to egg mixture alternately with milk. Stir

in berries. Divide batter between 2 greased 9x5 loaf pans. Bake 70 minutes at 
350 degrees. Cool breads in pans on rack before turning out.  Enjoy.
