Can you use this type of crust if you have to bake a pie? If a pie calls
for a prepared pie crust for example?

Vanilla Nut Crumb Crust
"mamma peach"
1 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers (about
29)
1/2 cup Planters Pecan Pieces, Planters Walnut Pieces, Planters Blanched
Almonds or Planters Salted Peanuts, ground
1/3 cup Blue Bonnet Margarine, melted
In a small bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, ground nuts and margarine.
Press mixture against sides and bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375
degrees for 7 to 8 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool. Fill as desired.
Chocolate Variation:
Use 1 cup finely crushed chocolate wafers (about 17) in place of vanilla
wafers.
Note:
If Planters Salted Peanuts are used, increase margarine to 6 tablespoons.
