Hi all,
My sister is away for a couple months, and she's the primary cook in
the house. The rest of us are thinking pizza sounds good, but the
dough my sister usually makes has never struck me as particularly good
for pizza (I think it's ficaccia bread, which I know I spelled
horribly wrong). So, I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a pizza dough
recipe that's less bread-like and more pizza-like, if that makes any
sense. We all prefer thicker crust, if it matters. Also keep in mind
that I'm not an experienced bread maker, and I'd be doing this by
hand, not using a bread machine (though the mixder does have a dough
hook). Thanks in advance.
