Just like with any cutting or slicing tool, you must be careful. I know that a former member, Henry, used and recommended them regularly, and he was totally blind. I have never used one, though.

has anyone used a mandelin slicer and what do you think of them?
we often make shakes and smooties during the summer. will this be good for slicing fruits from strawberries, mangos, pears, apples, etc?
