Measure about a tbsp (15 ML) of vinegar into a measuring cup. Fill the cup to the one cup mark (250 ML) with milk, and stir. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before using. You can do this anytime you come across a recipe that calls for soured milk or buttermilk.
