Hi, I make this with a can of peaches in juice.
place peaches in the bottom of a greased 9 by 13baking dish, chop into
bite-size pieces. Lightly dump out yellow or white cake mix on top of
peaches, do not press down.
Dot mix with slices from stick of butter. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
I don't generally like canned peaches, but I can't really taste them
when the recipe is finished. I use a larger can, 20 oz. if memory
serves. It has been a very long time since I made this.

I find the frozen pot pies rather a mess myself,so I have made this
one. If you will have leftovers, it is smart to invite others,
because the crust gets soggy in the refrigerator. Or, you could leave
off the Bisquick part:
Chicken Pot Pie

Prep time: 16 min. Bake time: 30 min. Serves 6.

HEAT oven to 400 degrees.
In ungreased 9" pie plate, MIX--
1 2/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables,THAWED,
1 cup cut-up cooked chicken,
1 can cream of chicken soup
In another bowl,STIR with fork until blended:
1 cup Bisquick mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
POUR into pie plate.
BAKE 30 min or until golden brown.
I have been known to bake a potato in the microwave separately before
pouring veggies, chicken, and soup together, so I can cut it into
cubes and add it to that mixture before pouring the crust over all.
Chopped celery is also a nice addition, same principle. I suppose one
could even substitute cubed turkey breast.

Enjoy,
Jamey
