You are correct in this assumption! Like you said, a very sad day for us and
our country!However, let me interject here that this is not by any means, a
new event. It was like that when my younger son was in elementary school
during the  80s; the teachers gave the exact reasons listed in the previous
email; candy and cookies could be tainted with drugs, man! So sad! Thus,
everything must be packaged and candies wrapped.
