Hi Walt. You're singing my song here! I've always wanted to make pancakes for my kids. That is pancakes that you don't take out of a box then stick in the microwave. I haven't figured it out yet! please tell me that there is a blind person out there (maybe Dale?) who has mastered the art of pancakes on the griddle or in a pan. How do you know when to flip them? How do you know where they are in order to keep from poring batter on top of where you already have some? Same goes for waffles? My little boy was so excited when he stayed the night with Grandma and she pulled out her waffle iron and made waffles from scratch! My waffle iron is my handy dandy toaster. Smile. Ug, my kids are so neglected! Do any of you use a waffle iron? They make me very nervous. Thanks, and thanks Walt for bringing it up.

I have one problem. When I pour batter in the frying pan to cook I can make 1 pancake at a time. If I put more then 1 I usually get 1 great big pancake. It is good but I would rather have 2 or 3 pancakes then 1 great big one. I am in the process of getting another grill but have to make due with what I have (grin). Thank you, Walt _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
