Raspberry Chocolate Balls 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 cup (8-ounces) chocolate chips, melted 1 cup chocolat cookie crumbs 1/4 cup seedless raspberry preserves *I also substitute orange marmalade for a change of flavour. *1 teaspoon orange flavouring. ½ cup chocolate cookie crumbs plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder -for coating Combine crumbs and powder in seperate bowl for cookie rolling later. 1. Combine cream cheese and chocolate. Mix until well-blended. Stir in crumbs and preserves. 2. Place in freezer for 15 to 30 minutes to thicken mixture. 3. Roll into one inch balls. Roll each ball in cookie crumbs to coat. 4. Store in sealed container in fridge. *As you make the balls you may need to take the bowl of mixture in and out of the freezer to prevent dough becoming to sticky. hth Donald _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
