Hi everyone. Well, have you ever been excited to take a new recipe to a
family dinner and it turns out rather crummy? The corn casserole that we
made was not good, not at all. We quadrupled the recipe, but I don't think
that is one that should be quadrupled! It took forever to bake and then when
it was finally done, you could barely chew it. It was very dry too. I'm sure
the recipe itself is delicious, but when you quadruple it, there's some
ingredients you shouldn't add as much of. What a waste. Then, the other
recipe that I though was pretty good, barely got eaten. I'm so frustrated.
However, the no bake cheese cake that we made was absolutely delicious! It
must have been something in the air that day, because one of my mom's
recipes that she makes every year didn't come out too good either. Well, I
guess that has probably happened to everyone. I'm just upset over the waste
of time and money that was put into the dishes. Maybe we'll have better luck
with Christmas dinner right? Other than that Thanksgiving was fun and
filling! *smile*
