I just thought of something: If you have a vacuum sealer, it might come in very handy for packing cookies to be shipped.

The only refinement to this method I would make would be to line the
inside of the box with a tough plastic bag large enough to hold all of
the popped corn and cookies going into it and seal the top of the
plastic bag before the box is closed.  Probably the best way to do that
would be to pull another tough plastic bag down over the top of the
closed box and then seal that second plastic bag outside of the box and
then put the package in a second box for mailing.  That way you have
some waterproofing of the package just in case.
