Nutella Crinkle Cookies
3 cup flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 11 ounces Nutella 1/4 cup shortening 1 1/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup milk 1/2 cup chopped, toasted hazelnuts 2 cup finely chopped hazelnuts Sifted confectioners' sugar Method 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl. 3. Beat Nutella and shortening in a large bowl until combined. 4. Add sugar and mix until combined. 5. Beat in eggs and vanilla. 6. Add flour and milk alternately and mix until just combined. 7. Stir in the ½ cup toasted hazelnuts. 8. Cover and chill several hours until firm. 9. Shape dough into walnut-sized balls. 10. Roll in finely chopped hazelnuts, then in confectioners' sugar. 11.
