Nutella Bread

 

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup Nutella Spread 

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3/4 cup milk

1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts, divided

 

Method

 

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 

2. Lightly grease bottom of 9-inch-by-5-inch loaf pan.

3. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and powder. 

4. Set aside.

5. In large mixing bowl, beat brown sugar, Nutella, oil, eggs and vanilla on 
medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. 

6. Add flour mixture and milk. 

7. Mix on low until incorporated. 

8. Do not overmix. 

9. Stir in 1 cup walnuts and scrape bowl well.

10. Spoon batter into prepared pan. 

11. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup chopped walnuts on top and bake 55-60 minutes 
just until tester inserted at center comes out clean. 

12. Do not overbake.

13. Cool bread 30 minutes in pan. 

14. Run spatula around bread to loosen. 

15. Invert onto cooling rack. 

16. Rest at room temperature 30 minutes before slicing. 

17. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap before freezing. 

18. Keeps fresh 2 days at room temperature, 5 days refrigerated and 2 months 
frozen.

19. Serves 12.
