Does the fudge need to stay refrigerated after firming? Thanks.

Subject: [CnD] Measurements for butter and chocolate chips.

Hi, all,

This subject seems to come up a lot. one stick of butter equals 1/4 pound equals 1/2 cup. There are two cups of butter in one pound.

Now for the chocolate chips. six ounces of chocolate chips equals 1 cup, so 12 ounces would be two cups of chocolate chips.

On another note about fudge. I have made fudge using 3 cups (18 ounces) of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

Melt the chocolate carefully in the microwave, about 2 minutes; stir in the condensed milk and vanilla. Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan and refrigerate. When firm, cut into squares. This one is delicious!

Blessings,
Alice
