Holiday Fantasy Fudge

1 2/3 cups sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1  teaspoon vanilla

Combine sugar, butter, salt and milk in pot . Bring to a boil,  stirring 
constantly with a wooden spoon.  Boil for five minutes.
Remove from heat.
  Add remaining ingredients and beat until marshmallows melt, and blend into
mixture.
Pour into greased foil-lined tin and cut into squares.
