Hi Tom and welcome to the list. It's a lot of fun here, and you can get some great recipes. It's nice to ask other people who are blind suggestions on how they may use something in the kitchen or make something. However, I don't have an answer to your question about trimming the fat of the roast. that's a really good question and I'm curious to find out how to do it myself.
