I have it; really like it!! I had been bauking at the idea of what even the simple Keurigs cost, and well, since Amazon tracked what I was looking at, it sent me a 'you might be interested in' E-mail. It was $49. There were brands of coffee not available in regular that I had really wanted to try, so bought from .11streetcoffee, which has good prices. Someone showed me how once you put the K-cupin the basket, how you press down on part of it to lock the cup in and puncture the hole in the top of the cup; once I understood about that, hod no problem. I'm not giving up on my four-cup regular maker, but this is real nice for when I want just one cup and quickly, and since I clean after each use, I like that for tea now I don't have to wait for a whole kettle to boil; I can just put the bag in the cup, have the water come down over it, and let it steep.

     Kathy.

Subject: [CnD] Flex-Brew Coffee Maker

Hamilton Beach now has a flex-brew coffee maker, as they call it.
It is half the price of a Keurig. It is a single serve coffee maker and
brews regular ground coffee, coffee pods and k-cups. I have one. I've had it
for a week. I haven't tried k-cups in it. And I'm not sure if or when I
will, but if it works withK-cups, it would be a bargain for those who don't want to pay the price for a keurig pot. I got it from Amazon. I found it by
accident while browsing Amazon on New Year's day. I ordered it right away
and got it a week ago today. You can only pour ten ounces of water in at a
time. But that's not a problem for me.

Subject: Re: [CnD] The Keurig coffee maker

Hi I am only familiar with two models of the Keurig. The Mini, which
requires you to pour each cup of water into the unit, costs approximately
$99. the Elite, which has a 48 oz. tank on the side, sells for
approximately $129.00. I do know from experience that if you buy these
items from Bed Bath and Beyond you will pay more for them. try Wal-Mart or
Sams for the units. sometimes QVC will carry one of these units and they
will offer special gift items with the maker. Of course, you can order
directly from Keurig. Their phone number is 866-901-2739.
Also, when you order your K-cups from Keurig you get one point of credit for
every K-Cup that you order. You also receive free shipping and a free 5
pack when you order at least 4 boxes of product. I hope that this is
helpful. Oh yeah, I almost forget to mention that the more points that you
accumulate at Keurig the larger discount you will receive on future orders
of coffee, accessories, and even the makers. Mike
