Hi Nancy. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend the cupcake
maker. We purchased one about six months ago and have been very disappointed
with the results. The outside of the cupcakes would burn but the middle would
not get done. This is despite following instructions to the letter and trying
many different types of batter. We tried numerous different types of cakes and
all had the same results. This is unfortunate because it is a great idea. You
make the dough in a standard fashion and then pour it in this machine that has
cupcake inserts in it. Then, you close the machine and supposedly the cakes get
done in a very short amount of time. It will be interesting to see what others
experiences have been, but again, unfortunately, I would not recommend this
unit for purchase.
