I'm assuming that--by beaten bread--you mean quick breads that use baking
powder and baking soda instead of yeast and that can be baked as soon as
they are mixed. I make plenty of those now. I love to make Irish soda
bread which is a bread leavened with baking powder and baking soda and
buttermilk to neutralize the soda.
