Beef stew
Today I took some beef and cubed it into 1 inch pieces and put them in a
plastic bag with 1/2 cup of flour and a pinch or two of black pepper..
/Shook the bag to coat the beef with the flour. Fried the pieces in a little
canola oil for about 5 minutes on each size. Added some cut up celery,
carrots,, onions and potatoes, about bite size. Pour in a can of beef
broth )14 1/2 ounces) One can water with a couple beef bullion cubes. Place
the lid on my large skillet which is tight and let it sit on a medium simmer
on top of the stove. Once the lid was hot, turn it down to a low simmer and
will let it do it thing for about 4 hours, or until the veggies are the way
I like them. Than I will add a little corn starch (3 tablespoon to 3
tablespoons of water) Once it is thicken a little. Will get out the fresh
baked rolls and have a feast.
