Some one questioned putting tuna in mashed potatoes.  Actually, it isn't as 
far-fetched as it sounds at first.  Cod fish cakes are popular in New England 
and in the Mediterranean.  Dried, salted cod fish is used.  The fish is soaked 
over night and rinsed several times, then added to mashed potatoes with egg and 
onion.  The cakes are fried in a little oil or butter or deep fried after being 
coated with flour and bread crumbs.  They are delicious.
