The answer is yes. Most any thing you can cook on the stove or oven you can cook in a crockpot. For example, if I were going to cook the sauce in a crockpot, I would first fry the onions and dump them in the crock and than the puree/ paste. 1 part paste to two parts puree and a equal amount of water and than the seasoning of salt and pepper to taste. Maybe some oregano and basil, and some chopped up fresh garlic cloves, with a little red wine. For a sweeter taste use sweet white wine. Or just fry up some onion and add a can of spaghetti sauce and season with the above seasoning to taste. quicker and easier. Just remember set the crock on low and stir it now and than. About 2 to 3 hours should do it. And a spaghetti sauce is made several different ways. For example. Some will sear a small roast and let it cook for hours until it all but falls apart, than tear it into the sauce and serve over the pasta.

I have sceen several recipes for cooking spegetti sauce. I was wondering if it is a lot like Pizza Sauce. I seems to have the same things in it. I was also wondering if you could cook it in the crock ppot?
