Are either of those cutters a vertical handle attached to something that feels like a saw blade pointing down? If so, first slice the leaf head off the pineapple. next center the blade on the top end of the pineapple. Next hold the pineapple steady with one hand and pressing down gently with the handle turn the handle clockwise until the cutter comes out of the bottom of the pineapple. If that much works, pull the cutter up and out. then lift away the peel of the pineapple and lift out the core of the pineapple if the cutter doesn't pull it out for you. You're left with a tube of fruit which can be cross cut to make pineapple rings once all of this happens. Good idea to put pineapple in a metal bowl before using the cutter and get all the peel out of the juice left in that bowl.
