Always Inn Tahoe Blueberry Scones

 

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 cup milk

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

melted butter

 

Directions:

1.      Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Stir in sugar. Cut in
shortening with pastry blender. Add milk and blueberries; mix well.
2.      Spray a 9" pie pan with Pam. Pat dough into pan. Bake at 300 degrees
for 30 minutes or until golden.
3.      Brush with melted butter while still hot. Serve warm.
