Rice, it isn't a crockpot thing, but one can cook a large batch of rice and
place in a ziplock bag in the portion you want. Than just add a couple
tablespoons of water to the bag and pop it into the microwave for a minute
or two. As for the crockpot, I found it is best to cook the night before if
working 10 hours or more. For the food usually is over cooked for my liking
for that period of time. Before going to bed turn on the crock and off in
the morning and warm it up when you get home.

Subject: [CnD] crock pot recipies
Hi All,
I'm new to the list and have been following then crock pot discussions
with interest.
I work a 10-hour shift and was interested in finding different things I
could make which would give me four meals I could take to work.
I thought crock pot and possibly casseroles might be among the things I
haven't tried.
I'm looking for the all in one type of thing that would contain a
meat/protien, a little starch like rice or potatoes and vegetables.
Thanks for all your help in advance.
Robin
