Butterscotch Bread Pudding for 1 1 cup soft bread cubes 1 egg 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted 2/3 cup milk 3 tablespoons brown sugar ½ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon nutmeg dash of salt 1/3 cup raisins
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread cubes in a buttered 2 ½ cup casserole. Beat egg slightly; stir in butter, milk, brown sugar, seasonings, and raisins. Pour egg mixture on bread cubes. Bake until knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
