Hi Jennifer, The one we bought is much like a regular blender, but for one thing it is much more powerful, 1,000 Watts, and is extremely easy to put together and use! It can handle whole fruits and vegetables. It has very few controls. There is a power button on the left in the shape of a vertical rectangle. There are three round buttons to the right of that which determine the speed you blend at, and another vertical rectangle on the right which is the pulse button. The blade assembly is all one piece, but has three sets of two blades. One set is close to the top, another is about at the center, and the third set is close to the bottom. They are extremely sharp! The 72-ounce pitcher is square. Ours did not come with extra containers, but some models do. It costs right around $100.00. It has suction cups on the bottom to hold it firmly in place. That’s probably about all I can tell you right now as I’ve only owned it since Thursday. I chopped vegetables for chicken soup on Friday, and I can’t believe how quickly the job was done and how easy the machine was to clean!
Take care, and don’t hesitate to ask if you have further questions. Maybe others who have one can add to what I’ve said as well.
