I might consider the Mozzarella if it was in slices, but shredded would
work. But probably not the spicy sauces because the meatballs are in that
Swedish meatball sauce already or in sweet and sour sauce if I open that
can.

Don't forget the Mozzarella cheese and some kind of spicy thick sauce on
those sandwiches!

That is a lot of crockpot capacity to fill up but well worth it. Not to
mention it really makes the house smell good. Sometimes I put some
meatballs on bread or a bun and have an instant meatball sandwich. The
sauce flavors the bread nicely.

Can you and Firefly come and visit Purdue, me, and Wee? And bring about
4 batches of meatballs or the stuff to make them? Between Wee and me,
we have 11 quarts of crock pot capacity, and these sound really good.

Hi Mary,
I go to GFS Foods near my house and get a large can of either Swedish
meatball sauce or Sweet And Sour Sauce. I buy a large bag of frozen
meatballs and fill a crockpot around three quarters full of them. Then
I pour about half of the can of sauce over them and I do not measure.
I do not fill the crockpot so full it will overflow while cooking. I
cook it on high for a couple hours and then put it on low if I am using
the crockpot with high and low settings. The sauce absorbs into the
meatballs and tastes wonderful.
I am doing that this year for New Year's Eve.

Since we are in the holiday season, does anyone have an easy recipe
for slow cooker meatballs, or even slow cooked sweetish meat balls?
Happy holidays!
Mary
