A suggestion: I've noticed that when someone asks a question about whether to cook chicken using a deep fryer or whether to cook chicken in the oven, people will send replies stating that they don't cook chicken. This is an example. One that is going on right now, though, is that someone has asked about cooking with a gas stove, and people are replying that they cook on electric stovetops. This offers no advice to the query. On another list, I asked for people's experiences with a particular company, and got several replies that told me about other products from other companies. These kinds of responses don't help the person who is asking for help, tips, or advice on a specific topic.
