Crock pot liners are useful for multiple reasons. It's considered to be
risky to put your crock in the fridge overnight and then put it in the crock
pot, as the manufacturers say it can crack the crock based on the
temperature shift. So you build your meal in the liner, tie it up with a
twist tie and put it in the fridge, and then you can pull it out , put it in
the crock pot, and you're good to go.
I always buy the large size, because it can't hurt anything to have a bit
more liner, while it's annoying to have too little liner for a larger crock
pot.
