Cannellini beans with sausage.
2 cans of cannellini beans
1 can of chicken broth (14 1/2 ounces)
1 carrot
1 large onion
1 stick of celery
basil, oregano, salt, pepper.  and a couple bay leaves
Optional Can of tomatoes Stewed or whole crushed.
1 pound of sweet or hot Italian sausage. I prefer the hot.

Chop up the onions, carrot, celery, and garlic
Add some olive oil to a pot and fry up the a above.
Rinse the beans well and add to the pot with the broth and season to taste
Meanwhile, boil the sausage in a little water in a frying pan until cooked thru. Cut into bite size pieces and add to pot. Let simmer for a half hour and serve with some Italian homemade bread. Or buy some if you must.

That is the quick and easy way.
You can cook the cannellini beans from scratch if time permits. I believe the taste is better if you do. ,
