Note that I have changed some of the spelling so that screen reading software
and speech synthesizers will give closer to correct pronunciation for clarity.

The following chart is for a Westbenz Stir Crazy 6 quart electric popcorn
popper, but can be used elsewhere. If not using the specified popper, be sure
to use an appropriately sized container to allow the popcorn to properly expand
as it pops.

If using the specified popper, place the butter in the space provided for it,
in the bottom of the lid that serves as the serving bowl. Be sure to remove
the plastic cover, otherwise, it may melt due to the heat produced. Put the
oil and kernels into the base, place the lid on, add the butter to the place
provided, then plug the popper in.

If using a regular grade of popcorn, not gourmet quality, such as Jolly Time,
for example:

To make 2 quarts of popcorn, use 1 tablespoon of oil, 1/3 cup of kernels, and,
if desired, 1 tablespoon of butter.

To make 4 quarts, use 2 tablespoons of oil, 2/3 cups of kernels, and, if
desired, 2 tablespoons of butter.

To make 6 quarts of popcorn, use 3 tablespoons of oil, 1 cup of kernels, and,
if desired, 3 tablespoons of butter.

**If using a gourmet/premium grade of corn, which are more expensive but pop up
larger and produce fewer duds, such as Orville ReddenBocker's, use less than
amount of kernels specified above.

To make 2 quarts of popcorn, use 1/4 cup of kernels.
for 4 quarts, use 1/2 cup of kernels.
for 6 quarts, use 3/4 cup of kernels.

Also, if your Microwave oven bites the dust, and all you have on hand are bags
of Microwave popcorn, and you're in the mood for popcorn, just place the
contents of the bag into your popper, machine, or pan, and pop. It will work,
and no extra oil or butter is needed.

Now, get some soda, popcorn, and watch a good movie while you snack.

Be positive! When it comes to being defeated, if you think you're finished,
you! really! are! finished!
