I use the regular white vinager. You should be able to get it at any
grocery store. I fill a cup and put it in my Keurig. I stop it when it
starts pouring back in to the cup and let it sit for 30 minutes. I then run
the rest of the viniger through. I then will get a cup of water and I use a
quarter teaspoon of baking soda. Stir well and rinse
My machine. The baking soda will cut the viniger taste and you don't need
to use all the rinsing regulary used. I usually make sure it is rinsed with
a second cup full of water but you should be good to go.

Subject: [CnD] question about cleaning the kureg

For those of you that have the kuregg hot coffee maker that can do the small
and large cup sizes, what cleaners do you use to clean it? I read somewhere
where you can use white vinegar to clean it, as an alternative to the kureg
cleaner for a cheaper alternative. However, when I've gone to the store, no
one can seem to find the white vinegar that I'm supposed to look for. What
can I get to do the job? Or, should I be looking for something else
altogether? I use giant eagle here in Columbus, Ohio, and I'm seeing cooking
vinegar, and other things with vinegar and wine and combinations like that.
But, nothing that says, white vinegar by itself. Also, just how exactly are
you supposed to clean the thing? The instructions are rather drawn out for
what was read to me and I want to be sure I don't damage a 200 dollar
machine. Thanks so much for your help, Scott
